BIO

Iryna is a practicing, teaching and consulting art therapist, trauma specialist and Certified IFS Therapist. She is a full professional member of the European Federation of Art Therapy.

 

In 2011, Iryna received her master's in art therapy from the George Washington University graduate art therapy department  with a trauma therapy concentration as a Fulbright Graduate Student Fellow; along with three academic year-long practicum placements in the greater Washington, DC area:

Over the years, she took advanced psychotherapy and trauma training with the ITR Training Institute and IFS Institute. She has practiced, trained and consulted with international NGOs Caritas and Health Right International, as well as chapters of Ukrainian NGO Psychological Crisis Services and the Family Circle project. She has been a regular guest & presenter on art therapy and trauma therapy to clinician and clinical trainee groups, and the public, at local and international conferences and events.

Iryna was recently returned to the Washington, DC area as a 2017 - 2018 Fulbright Scholar to collaborate and teach with the George Washington University graduate art therapy program and the ITR Training Institute. Since 2020, she has been actively assisting in IFS trainings across Europe and providing IFS consultation to colleagues.
